The Wolf of Wall Street

I have chosen The Wolf of Wall Street for my case study, I chose it because I think that there is a lot you can write about this.

The institution of The Wolf of Wall Street is Red Granite Pictures.

The UK distributor for this movie is Universal Pictures International.

The genre of The Wolf of Wall Street is an American Black comedy; which means it is a comedy which contains illegal activity.

It illustrates in the trailer of this movie that this an American Black comedy because of all the crime and illegal activity it contains; like murder and fraud.

The Wolf of Wall Street is not a sequel.

In the trailer, none of the previous movies directed by the directors or performed by the actors are not mentioned in the trailer; I think that the reason for this is that they might want the audience to focus on this movie not any other one.

This movie was released in the 7 January 2014, the first trailer was released November 2013 by Paramount Pictures.

The Wolf of Wall Street has made a teaser trailer and a main trailer.

The public like The Wolf of Wall Street because 82% of viewers liked it on Rotten Tomatoes and say that it is funny and infectious.

Here are some reviews on Rotten Tomatoes for The Wolf of Wall Street:

Terence Winter's script is a natural and well-oiled machine that produces the words of a demigod. You couldn't make these things up.
This is a fantastic exploration of greed, money, and a truly flawed character that spent much of the nineties on a jaw-dropping but pernicious thrill-ride.
Though it's not a bad movie (it is Scorsese, after all), The Wolf of Wall Street is surprisingly off-putting, overlong and morally skewed.
The original budget for this movie was £63,097,000; which is equal to $100 million. In the opening weekend, The Wolf of Wall Street made £11569354.87, in total; the film made £116,900,694.

The last movie that the director of The Wolf of Wall Street(Martin Sorsese) directed was Shutter Island, in 2010, and The Departed, in 2006. The genre they both have is Thriller. But The Departed involves crime, similar to The Wolf of Wall Street. The main stars in all three movies are Leonardo DiCaprio. Leonardo DiCaprio is mentioned in the trailers.
