Minority Report Shot-by-Shot analysis.
Medium Close-Up (MCU)
In this medium close up it shows the guards and the emotion and expression on the face of the guard at the front, the reason they want to do this is because the guard at the front is a good friend to Tom Cruise, and they want the audience to realise this.
Establishing shot, Wide Shot (ES/WS)
This is an establishing shot used to set the scene at which Tom Cruise is being chased by the police. There is dark lighting and shadow show that they are in a dark alley where he is trying to escape from the police, it has a tiny bit of lighting near the back though, to show Tom Cruise escaping from the police.

High Angle:
This shot shows that the victim is being bullied by the bully. It makes the victim look small and weaker than the bully, it also makes it look as if they are being caught on CCTV.
High Angle:
In this picture, it shows the victim trying to get up but she is being threatened by the bully. We can see this by the clenched fist.
High Angle:
In this shot, the bully has left and now the victim is being comforted, the victim looks very small and weak now because she is looking down and covering her face.
Over the shoulder shot:
In this over the shoulder shot it shows the victim being talked to and the camera is focused on her, this shows that she is the most important person in the shot.
Two Shot:
This is a two shot because there are two actors in the shot. it shows the bully pointing, ( or threatning.)the victim again and that the victim is looking up at the bully. The fact that the bully is looking down at her makes her look scared and vulnerable.

Adidas Predator Instinct Advert.
Media Language
The key conventions that tell us that this is an advert is the Adidas logo in the top right-hand corner. The slogan for these new boots - instinct takes over, makes the people believe that this is currently the best football boot there is, not just in Adidas, but also against their rivals, Nike. The key images on this advert are the football boots, it shows the history of the Adidas predator boots, all blurred, and the new boot in focus. The background is made dark so that the Adidas football boots stand out.
Institution:
The major institution behind this advert is Adidas, the way that the new Predator Instincts are focused on, suggests that they are the greatest boots made.
Audience:
The target audience for this advert is primarily football fans and people who play football. The gender percentage could be 80% male, and 20% female. Adidas will also be targeting people who are already wearing Nike football boots. The age targeted by Adidas would be from 10-40. This product is quite cheap, from £20-£60, unlike Nike football boots, this factor can help the Adidas business.
Representation:
The representation on this advert is adidas predator. Because all the boots in the picture are Adidas Predators, this is no surprise, because even though Adidas Predators aren't the only Adidas football boots, they are by far the most famous. In my opinion, the reason that they made a new football boot was because it would look more appealing, more professional, and it would definitely be more successful.

Media Debates
Celebrities have too much influence in society.
I do agree with this statement because there are a lot of people who look up to celebrities and want to be like them. Social networks, such as Instagram and facebook, which provide people with information about celebrities. Some celebrities are good role models, but others are not, these include celebrities like Miley Cyrus, ho twerks in front of little kids, Justin Bieber, for smoking and drunk driving, and John Terry, for being racist.
Fans of celebrities like these, are taught things that they shouldn't be. These are be reasons why some people commit crimes.

Beheading of a second US Journalist by Islamic state.
British hostage is threatened by jihadist.
The parents of Ashya King released from prison.
European plans to protect wildflower meadows have had the opposite effect.
The reason why the US Journalist article was read before the British hostage, was because the US journalist had been killed, but the British hostage has been threatened, he hasn't been killed yet, and could be released.
The next article, about Ashya King's family, was also very important, just like the reason that news on Ashya King is always on the front page, he is a five year old with a brain tumour which means that news on his parents are very important, which means that it's important that his parents are free and can see him, now.
The last article, about the European plan to protect wildflower meadows backfiring, was a big thing. But not big enough to be read out first, or early. This article was read at the end.

Man Utd buy the columbian striker, Radamel Falcao.
Clubs try to find the player that will make the difference between success, and failure before 11pm tonight.
NASA has released footage of sun flares that could reach us here on earth.
The first article was read because it was the more important than anything else that was read out. But a new change in curriculum was also very important because it was a quick change and a very big one, too.
I think, that the NASA headline,( which was read out last.) should have been read before the Radamel Falcao headline.
The Man Utd buying Radamel Falcao was read before the other clubs trying to find an important player, because Falcao is one of the best footballers that still plays.
